Many things have changed in recent years and the approach to training apprentice chefs is no different. The Skills Institute provides training to your people according to your business needs.
The mode of training can vary according to your type of business, its facilities and location. This means training and assessment can be provided fully on-the-job, at our specialist facilities or a combination of the two.
To discuss the specific needs of your business, contact Lisa Lepretre on 6233 3861 or email [email protected] |

In Tasmania, all staff employed in the provision of alcohol and gaming services are required to be licensed by the Tasmanian Liquor and Gaming Branch. The Skills Institute provides the training your staff need to be qualified for both Responsible Service of Alcohol and Responsible Conduct of Gaming.
Both of these short courses are available online through the Skills Institute. We are the only training provider in the state offering the opportunity to gain these qualifications flexibly and online. Visit www.skillsinstitute.com.au/e-learning/ for more information or call 1300 655 307.
For more information on your statutory requirements or to learn about recent changes to licence conditions please visit Liquor and Gaming at the Department of Treasury and Finance. |
