Automotive Air Conditioning: Achieve Your Licence

In this course participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to service, repair and install air conditioning systems for automotive applications. Successful completion will allow you to apply for an Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) Air Conditioning Licence which is a national requirement for handling air conditioning refrigerants.

Participants will learn:

About legislative and documentary requirements for use of and safe handling of refrigerants.
About the technical skills needed to service, repair and install automotive
A/C systems.
To diagnose automotive A/C system faults and poor performance.

Outcome:	A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical (Air Conditioning) (AUR20705).
Prerequisites:	You must have a trade qualification OR equivalent experience. Contact us for advice based on your individual experience and skills.
Location:	At your workplace or at the Hobart, Alanvale and Burnie training facilities.
Cost:	$570 per person. If travel to a worksite is required please contact us for a quote.
Duration:	Three and a half days (depending on individual experience).
