Certificate II in Split Air-conditioning and Heat Pump Systems (UEE20111)

Participants will cover the following:

Refrigeration and air conditioning fundamentals as applicable to air conditioning split systems.
Refrigeration procedures for joining/connecting copper tube as applicable to air conditioning split systems.
Refrigerants - including ozone depletion, codes of good practice and R410A certification.
Refrigeration system components as applicable to air conditioning split systems.
Residential air conditioning including installation, commissioning and decommissioning as applicable to air conditioning split systems.

Entry Requirements

Trade Certificate III in either electrical or plumbing.
Exposure within the last 3 years or currently working in the industry.
Your own hand and installation tools e.g. flaring tool, wrenches and appropraite hand tools; 410 gauges and multi meter.
On-site assessment tools e.g. vacuum pump, reclaim unit.
You will also be required to obtain your own training license from the Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC). Assistance will be provided.

Cost:	$1,550 per person
Duration:	24 hours face to face training, 8 hours study in own time and 4 hours on site assessment.
