Plumbers are charged with the responsibility of protecting the health and safety of the community through the installation and maintenance of safe and compliant drinking water systems, free from cross-connection contaminants.
This nationally recognised unit covers the skills and knowledge required to commission and maintain backflow prevention devices according to the manufacturer’s specifications and legislative requirements.

Prerequisites: | You must be a registered plumber holding water registration OR a contracted plumbing apprentice who has successfully completed all water stream units at a Certificate III level. Licensing requirements also apply. |
Location: | At your workplace or at the Hobart, Launceston, Devonport and Burnie training facilities. |
