The purpose of this course is to provide the underpinning knowledge and skills to perform dogging safely. Successful participants are able to apply for a National High Risk Work Licence (Dogging) as issued by Workplace Standards Tasmania under the Work Health and Safety Act 2012.

Outcome: | Statement of Attainment for “CPCCLDG3001A Licence to perform dogging” and an Interim Licence to Perform High Risk Work (Dogging). |

Prerequisites: | Participants must be from 18 years of age and comply with the requirements outlined in the application for high risk work (GF083) published by Workplace Standards Tasmania and have a satisfactory level of literacy and numeracy. Protective work wear must be worn for the practical assessment (safety boots, gloves and helmet). |
Location: | Can be delivered in the workplace or at the Clarence, Alanvale and South Burnie training facilities. |
Cost: | $1,820 per person (course prices for single employer groups are negotiable). This does not include the licence fee payable upon successful completion at Service Tasmania. |
Duration: | Six days. |
