Food Safety Level 1

This course provides the essential skills required by food handlers, supervisors and managers in the food industry. You may work at a restaurant, hotel/club, cafe, takeaway/fast food outlet, food manufacturer/processor, nursing home or hospital, school canteen, commercial/industrial cafeteria
or market.

Participants will learn:

Outcome: A Statement of Attainment. Selected units “Follow Workplace Hygiene Procedures” (SITHOHS002A), “Clean and Maintain Kitchen Premises” (SITHCCC003A) and “Receive and Store Kitchen Supplies” (SITHCCC004A).
Prerequisites: None
Location: Online, with assessment in the workplace or at our training facilities in Launceston, Hobart or Devonport. Or, flexible workplace delivery and training for groups of 8 or more.
Cost: $190 per person. Course prices for single employer groups are negotiable.
Duration: 10 hours self-paced.
