Install and Maintain Irrigation Systems

This course is designed to improve the skills of new/existing employees or persons working with irrigation systems. Participants will increase their knowledge about creating a practical irrigation system, ensuring maintenance is performed and troubleshooting any problems that occur. Participants will need to complete an assignment/workplace project.

Participants will learn:

How to plan an appropriate irrigation system.
The efficient use of tools and equipment.
Practical maintenance and troubleshooting tips.

Outcome:	A Statement of Attainment. Selected units "Install Irrigation Systems" (RTE3601A), "Troubleshoot Irrigation Systems" (RTE3605A), "Implement a Maintenance Program for an Irrigation System" (RTE3612A).
Prerequisites:	You must wear personal protective equipment.
Location:	At the Hobart, Launceston and Burnie training facilities.
Cost:	$320 per person. Course prices for single employer groups are negotiable.
Duration:	Two days.
