Switchboard Awareness

The purpose of this course is to provide the underpinning knowledge and layout of functions in switchboards. Participants will gain an awareness of potential risks and emergency isolation procedures to facilitate rescue of an electric shock victim.

Participants will learn:

About occupational health and safety.
To identify hazards.
About what’s behind the switchboard door.
To control the motor room.
To reset external equipment.
