This course enables participants to develop the skills and knowledge required to isolate a site, safely remove, and dispose of non-friable asbestos containing materials, whilst adhering to regulations and procedures for personal and site decontamination as described in the: How to Safely Remove Asbestos, Code of Practice 2011.
Assessment will include a practical simulation of non-friable asbestos removal and a written assignment regarding asbestos removal control plans.

Prerequisites: | Participants must have a White Card - selected unit “Work Safely in the Construction Industry” (CPCCOHS1001A) and wear workshop clothing and safety shoes/boots. Disposable overalls provided. |
