Driving on Gravel Roads and Unsealed Surfaces

Gravel roads and unsealed surfaces require a completely different driving technique – no matter what vehicle you drive or how experienced you are. This course equips participants with the skills to keep themselves and their passengers safe. This is a sound investment for those who regularly travel on gravel roads at mines or project sites.

About OH&S requirements relating to safe road usage.
Key maintenance and pre-drive checks.
Emergency steering and braking techniques.

Prerequisites:	You must have a current drivers licence and your own vehicle, with a maximum of two persons sharing one vehicle.
Location:	At the Hobart, Launceston and Burnie training facilities.
Cost:	$230 per person. Course prices for single employer groups are negotiable.
