TIMI: Workplace Safety Induction

TIMI provides a low cost, flexible online induction and assessment program
based on a generic core. It can be customised to suit specific training needs
and is available at multiple sites.

Training includes:

Generic, underground or site specific induction assessments.
Online learning resources and assessment.

Participants will learn:

WHS requirements applicable to all work areas including surface work, underground, production and processing areas.

Topics covered include:

legislative requirements
colour coding / signage
tagging and isolation
managing hazards
personal protective equipment
traffic and mobile equipment
emergency procedures
health and hygiene

Outcome:	A TIMI Report and a TIMI Induction Card.
Prerequisites:	You must provide proof of identification e.g. drivers licence.
Location:	Supervised online delivery
Cost:	$85 at worksites with assessment supervisors (invigilators), $105 at Skills Institute approved sites or $200 workplace based assessment supervisor fee.
Duration:	Average time 2 - 2.5 hours.
Dates and times:	Course dates are subject to availability of assessment supervisors.
