This qualification provides skills and knowledge in two ICT fields – Help Desk Support and Database Administration. The Help Desk Stream develops skills in defining user’s needs, and diagnosing and rectifying problems related to the use of hardware and software. With a selection of network orientated electives, participants could support a networked environment. The Database Stream develops skills in the administration of commercial database systems and participants could provide database support to an organisation.
