The law has changed. Are you compliant?

White Card training is compulsory for all construction workers and includes OHS, emergency procedures, risk management and construction hazards.

The National Code of Practice for Induction for Construction Work requires that all construction workers undertake training to receive the new national ‘White Card’.

The Skills Institute will customise training to meet the needs of your business and your industry.

Participants will learn:

  • About workplace health and safety.
  • About legislation requirements and responsibilities (employer and employee).
  • To perform emergency procedures including evacuation procedures and first aid response requirements.
  • About basic risk management.
  • About physical building and construction hazards.
  • About the OHS hierarchy of controls.

Please note: Funding assistance is available from the Tasmanian Building & Construction Industry Training Board (TBCITB) for those that qualify under eligibility criteria. For more information see the Application Form or the TBCITB website.
