A Certificate II in Automotive Mechanical (Air Conditioning) (AUR20705).

Prerequisites

In this course participants will gain the knowledge and skills needed to service, repair and install air conditioning systems for automotive applications. Successful completion will allow you to apply for an Australian Refrigeration Council (ARC) Air Conditioning Licence which is a national requirement for handling air conditioning refrigerants.

Participants will learn:

  • About legislative and documentary requirements for use of and safe handling of refrigerants.
  • About the technical skills needed to service, repair and install automotive
    A/C systems.
  • To diagnose automotive A/C system faults and poor performance.
