With over 60% of plasterers using stilts for residential contracting, there is a real need for training to ensure that employees use this equipment in a correct and safe manner. With the expected introduction of regulations covering use of Plasterer’s Stilts in 2012, now is the time to ensure your staff are up to date.

This hands-on course is specifically for plasterers working in residential and some commercial sectors.

Participants will learn:

  • To review regulatory requirements for using stilts.
  • To review assembly and maintenance procedures.
  • To develop skills in the safe use of stilts.
  • To fit and use stilts in an approved manner.

Please note: Funding assistance is available from the Tasmanian Building & Construction Industry Training Board (TBCITB) for those that qualify under eligibility criteria. For more information see the Application Form and the TBCITB website.
