This nationally accredited unit of competency describes the skills and knowledge required to provide first aid response, life support, management of casualty/s, the incident and other first aiders, until the arrival of medical or other assistance.
This includes calling for help, the ability to respond to first aid situations, casualty assessment and decision-making, basic life support including cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR).
This course covers adult and child conditions.
