You must wear outdoor personal protective equipment.

This course is designed to provide participants with basic knowledge and skills in fire weather observation and measurement. All training is underpinned by OH&S principles and legislative requirements. 

Participants will learn:

  • Basic fire weather parameters through demonstration of measurement.
  • How to measure air temperature and relative humidity.
  • How to measure wind speed and direction.
  • To correctly complete daily logbooks.
