Under the new Work Health and Safety Act 2012, CEOs, board members and other senior managers are officers with substantial legal responsibilities. If you are an officer, do you know how to fulfil your due diligence obligations? Work health and safety (WHS) is about ensuring safe and healthy working conditions, and preventing illness and injury in the workplace. This course introduces officers to their legislative requirements, and the obligations of the PCBU and worker. Participants will develop strategies to ensure that their due diligence obligations are fulfilled.

Participants will learn:

  • About work health and safety legislation
  • To perform risk management
  • How to fulfil due diligence obligations
